When I started with Relay, it was a start-up in its infancy. In my 7 years as Creative Director, we've grown to over 3 million users and work with more than 25 major corporate partners.
Relay gives businesses the tools to create and send personal, actionable communications to their customers via a secure web app. Customers receive "journeys" of messages with high-value actions that guide them through lifecycle events like onboarding, account changes, problem resolution, and more.

The Relay platform is designed to support all sorts of content and to always present it simply and cleanly. Messages are used to welcome, educate, remind, and more so flexibility was key.
A business-customer relationship often involves different departments, groups, and partners. Understanding how those pieces work together and how customers interact with them drove the design of the navigation system. After several revisions, we arrived at a solution that struck a balance between intermingling everything and giving each brand or department their own space.
